Five days of top-class dressage, special events and entertainment on the Mornington Peninsula
The countdown is on to the 2026 4CYTE™ Australian Dressage Championships, with Australia’s leading dressage riders and rising stars set to descend on Boneo Park, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, from 14 – 18 October for five days of elite competition and a bustling atmosphere of entertainment, shopping, food and drink.
With free general admission across all five days, the Championships offer spectators, families and the wider community the opportunity to experience Australia’s finest dressage combinations in action.
Riders will compete for coveted national titles across Open, Pony and Para Dressage disciplines, from Novice through to Grand Prix, with the prestigious FEI Dressage World Cup™ among the program highlights. Adding to the excitement, the Australian Grand Prix Champion will receive the use of a Ford Ranger Wildtrak for 12 months, courtesy of Ford Australia’s landmark partnership with Boneo Park.
A major highlight of the five-day program is the FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday 17 October, where elite horse and rider combinations perform spectacular routines choreographed to music, blending athleticism, precision and artistry.
While general admission is free, spectators can elevate their experience with an exclusive ticketed Grand Prix Freestyle VIP Experience, featuring premium arena viewing, food and drinks.
The excitement continues Saturday evening when Boneo Park’s Indoor Arena transforms into a cinema for a special screening of Guided by Horses. The Australian documentary follows young people discovering the power of horses to build confidence, trust and connection through equine-assisted learning. The screening begins at 7pm, with tickets just $5 and all ticket proceeds supporting KIDS Foundation.
Beyond the arena, visitors can explore a bustling trade village, shopping, food and beverage offerings and activities around the grounds, making the Championships a fantastic day out for equestrian enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Boneo Park CEO Greta Cooper said the Championships were an opportunity to celebrate the best of Australian dressage and welcome a broader audience to the sport.
“The Australian Dressage Championships are a major event on the national equestrian calendar, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome Australia’s top riders to Boneo Park. We’re especially grateful to 4CYTE™ for their support as naming rights partner, helping us deliver an exceptional event for riders, horses and spectators,” Ms Cooper said.
“There’s something truly special about watching these horses and riders in action, particularly the Freestyle to Music. With shopping, on site restaurant, VIP experiences we welcome everyone to come along, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy everything the Championships, Boneo Park and the Mornington Peninsula have to offer.
“Ford Australia’s support is another exciting development, and we’re delighted the Senior Title winner will receive the use of a Ford Ranger Wildtrak for 12 months. It’s fantastic recognition for our athletes and another example of our commitment to raising the bar for equestrian sport in Australia.”
